Instructor: Jonee Davis

Time of Class: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026

This class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking to refresh their crochet skills. There’s no “one right way” to crochet—everyone holds their hook and yarn differently. This course is designed to help you learn through hands-on practice while developing your own comfortable style and rhythm.

You’ll be guided step by step as you explore foundational stitches and techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment. By the end of the class, you’ll have started your own project using the stitches you’ve learned.

All materials are included, and you’ll leave with a sample, helpful handouts, and a selection of patterns to continue practicing at home. You’ll also learn how to read crochet patterns so you can confidently take on future projects.

About the Instructor: Jonee Davis (Wheaton, MO) – I have been active in the fiber arts for many years. I first learned to weave then took up spinning. I am also an avid crocheter while dabbling in all the other aspects relating to fibers. I love teaching heritage arts classes, the ones that have been with us for centuries.

I feel that we are never too young or too old learn new things about the world of fiber arts and loves to share whatever knowledge she has with others.

My husband and I have a small farm in SW Missouri where are the caretakers of sheep, boer goats, chickens, a couple ducks and guardian dogs. I also have a farm store where I sell fibers and offer fiber arts classes.
