Students will learn techniques used in making Amish rag rugs to make a hot pad. These techniques will give students knowledge to make bigger size projects. Learn techniques for choosing material, starting, finishing and to make sure rug lays flat. There will be handouts explaining the techniques used to add more fabric to your rug. Class will include a kit with material and needle to make hot pad.

About the Instructor:Nancy lives in NW Arkansas and raises Shetland sheep. She has been doing a variety of fiber arts for over 25 years. Nancy knits, weaves, spins, crochets and loves to dye fiber.
