Crochet Granny Squares and More!

This class is an exploration of the Granny Square. You will be making 2 different Granny Squares and discussing different sizes, designs, colors and how to join your squares together. A Granny Square has many uses from a sweater to an afghan
I will furnish the yarn for these 2 or 3 squares plus handouts.

For those that feel adventurous I will be offering a Mystery Granny Square CAL in conjunction to this class. The 15th of each month I will email you a new pattern. Each pattern will take different expertise but I will be only an email or text away. CAL cost will be an additional $25 payable at end of class

Description

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Student must know basic crochet stitches and how to read a simple pattern.

Age Requirements: Class open to anyone age 17 and up.

About the Instructor: I have been active in the fiber arts for a many years. I first learned to weave then took up spinning. I am also an avid crocheter while dabbling in all the other aspects relating to fibers. I love teaching heritage arts classes, the ones that have been with us for centuries.

I feel that we are never too young or too old learn new things about the world of fiber arts and loves to share whatever knowledge she has with others.
